We are one of the world’s leading organisations to promote the importance of statistics and data, and have done so since we were founded in 1834. We’re a professional body for all statisticians and data analysts – wherever they may live. We have more than 9,000 members in the UK and across the world. They are at the core of what we do and make us who we are.

A professional society since 1888, we advance research and connect the diverse global mathematical community through publications, meetings and conferences, MathSciNet, professional services, advocacy, and awareness programs.

The American Statistical Association is the world’s largest community of statisticians, the “Big Tent for Statistics.” It is the second-oldest, continuously operating professional association in the country. Since it was founded in Boston in 1839, the ASA has supported excellence in the development, application, and dissemination of statistical science through meetings, publications, membership services, education, accreditation, and advocacy.

The Mathematical Association of America is the world’s largest community of mathematicians, students, and enthusiasts. We further the understanding of our world through mathematics because mathematics drives society and shapes our lives.

Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) is an international community of over 14,000 individual members. Almost 500 academic, manufacturing, research and development, service and consulting organizations, government, and military organizations worldwide are institutional members. SIAM was incorporated in 1952 as a nonprofit organization to convey useful mathematical knowledge to other professionals who could implement mathematical theory for practical, industrial, or scientific use. Since then, SIAM’s goals have remained the same.

IMU is an international non-governmental and non-profit scientific organization, with the purpose of promoting international cooperation in mathematics. It is a member of the International Science Council (ISC). IMU endorses ISC's Principle of Freedom, Responsibility and Universality of Science.

The International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM) is a worldwide organisation for professional applied mathematics societies, and for other societies with a significant interest in industrial or applied mathematics. The Council works to advance the applications of mathematics in all parts of the world.
The ICIAM Congresses, held every 4 years, are run under the auspices of the Council.

ICIAM is a Scientific Partner of the Centre International de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées (CIMPA), and a Scientific Associate of the International Science Council (ISC).
ICIAM also provides support for attendance at conferences in/from developing countries.

The computer has profoundly changed the relationship between mathematics and computation. Besides its invaluable role in numeric, symbolic, and experimental applications, computation is an important object of mathematical study in its own right and a fundamental theoretical tool. It is a source of new and exciting problems for mathematics.
Foundations of Computational Mathematics (FoCM) is an international nonprofit organization that supports and promotes research at the interface of mathematics and computation. It fosters interaction among mathematics, computer science, and other areas of computational science through conferences, events and publications. FoCM traces its beginnings to the Park City AMS--SIAM seminar in 1995 and its first conference has been held in Rio de Janeiro in 1997.

The International Association for Cryptologic Research (IACR) is a non-profit scientific organization whose purpose is to further research in cryptology and related fields. Cryptology is the science and practice of designing computation and communication systems which are secure in the presence of adversaries.

The ISI mission is to lead, support and promote the understanding, development and good practice of statistics worldwide, by providing the core global network for statistics. This is reflected in our slogan ‘Statistical Science for a Better World”.
The institute was founded in London in 1885 by 81 prominent statisticians from governments and academia. The ISI, its seven Associations and its organisational members, covering a range of statistical areas and interests, make up the ISI family with over 4500 members from over 100 countries. Our work and influence within the international statistical community are supported by standing and operational committees, special interest groups and regional networks.

The Mathematical Optimization Society (MOS), founded in 1973, is an international organization dedicated to the promotion and the maintenance of high professional standards in the subject of mathematical optimization. Up to 2010 its name was "Mathematical Programming Society (MPS)".

The European Mathematical Society is a learned society representing mathematicians throughout Europe. It promotes the development of all aspects of mathematics in Europe, in particular mathematical research, relations of mathematics to society, relations to European institutions, and mathematical education. The EMS has as its members around 60 national mathematical societies in Europe, 50 mathematical research centres and departments, and 3000 individuals.

The European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry (ECMI) is a consortium of academic institutions and industrial companies that acts co-operatively with the following aims:
To promote and support the use of mathematical modelling, simulation, and optimization in any activity of social or economic importance.
To educate Industrial Mathematicians to meet the growing demand for such experts.
To operate on a European scale.

European Women in Mathematics (EWM) is an association of female mathematicians. The Association is involved in policy and strategic work in promoting the role of women in mathematics and offers direct support to its members. EWM was founded in 1986 and has achieved a membership of around 400.

The Mathematical Society of South Eastern Europe (MASSEE) was established on 1st March 2003. The registered office of MASSEE is hosted by the Hellenic Mathematical Society in Athens, Greece at 34, Panepistimiou (Eleftheriou Venizelou) Street, GR. 106 79 – Athens, Greece. The main scope of the Association is to develop cooperation between and beyond the communities that are involved and further collaborate for adding value to the common activities organized in the area with main purpose the advancement of mathematics research and education.

The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) exists to support the advancement of mathematical knowledge and its applications and to promote and enhance mathematical culture in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, for the public good.
It is the professional and learned society for qualified and practising mathematicians, with a membership of around 5,000 comprising of mathematicians from all sectors, as well as those with an interest in mathematics.

The London Mathematical Society is the major UK learned society for mathematics. The Society's activities include publishing journals and books, providing grants to support mathematics and organising scientific meetings and lectures.
