Early Childhood Education
“early childhood” as occurring before the age of eight, and it is during this period that a child goes through the most rapid phase of growth and development. Their brains develop faster than at any other point in their lives, so these years are critical.
Choosing an Early Childhood Education Centre
Dubai offers a wide variety of pre-school and early childhood education opportunities for children aged 0 to 4 years. Currently more than 120 early childhood education centres are registered in Dubai. Whilst many of these are stand-alone centres, many schools also offer early childhood education.
Early Childhood Learning Center
The Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) is a state of the art, bilingual facility operated on both the Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses. These facilities serve children from 6 months to 4.4 years of age. The Center primarily serves the needs of the ZU community; therefore, it will be populated mainly with the children of ZU faculty, staff and students. Community members who are not affiliated with ZU may submit a registration form and will be considered, based on available space.

Ministry of Education defines that the stage of early childhood includes children between the ages of 45 days and four years.
The UAE gives top priority to children's care and development. At the federal level, Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Community Development undertake protection of children.
Social Care and Minors Affairs Foundation in Abu Dhabi and Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai support the federal entities in ensuring the well-being of minors.
