 UAEU SCHOLARWORKS:

The UAEU scholar - works are part of the digital common network - which is a network that brings together the works of scholars such as theses, dissertations, and journal articles at the global level.

Currently, the UAEU scholar works only focuses on digitizing and uploading of UAEU graduate students’ theses and dissertations online, which are accessible and available in full-text pdf format globally. Nevertheless, the digitization unit plans to include other scholarly works such as journals articles, conference proceedings, and magazines in the near future.

 

Privacy and policy

ScholarWorks@UAEU is committed to preserving privacy. The personal information received through the repository is used solely for purposes of the functioning of the system and for the specific research purposes described below.

This system collects personal information from contributors involved in the submission of content and metadata and from users who subscribe to the repository alerting service. Personal information collected will not be used for any commercial or philanthropic purpose not directly connected with or approved by the University of UAE. The University Libraries will not disclose information about individual visits to the ScholarWorks@UAEU site or personal information provided (e.g., name, email address) to any outside parties except when (i) the law requires it, or (ii) disclosure is necessary to protect the rights and property of the repository users. Any repository records used in a publicly accessible forum, such as demonstrations, presentations, or research papers, will be scrubbed of specific references to real people and personal information.

  • Faculty course-related output primarily of scholarly interest
  • Organizational annual reports and newsletters
  • Data sets
